In this chapter we understand how to align our business strategies and measure the success of each of them. How we apply our strengths and weaknesses and how to measure our disconnects are where we start to know where we are lacking and know if our adjustments are improving business or not. You must know what process you are trying to pursue or execute in order to align your proper strategy. Once you establish what you are trying to do and have record of what operational processes have helped you succeed in the past are the ones that are dependable and repeatable. knowing how high you want to "ascend" with your specific business goals will give you understand the success criteria to measure them.
The comparison to the climb in this matter was that the goal or "business goal" if you will for Helen was to keep a sacred promise to her grandma. The "criteria" for success was to accomplish it safely to make her proud (Yu 2021). Knowing where to adapt in the process is the stage where disconnects can impede your growth because it can compromise time and efficiency, ultimately leading to money. With being said, knowing how to apply your business strength is crucial. If it is your product, your sales, or company vision is the important in knowing what to attack. For example apple is product experience and amazon is distribution channels (Yu 2021). Once you have your business strategy in place, break it down and apply all of your strengths over weaknesses.
