Week 1 Guerilla Marketing Part 2
What stands out to me the most in J. Levenson's text is the organization of steps implemented for the components to be successful. He lists simple steps about traditional marketing along with key concepts of how to construct your ideas around. Additionally, I thought his point on one does not need to invest if they don't feel its necessary. I always thought up until this point that you needed a lot of money to be successful in promoting a brand, but he points out focusing on your target population and knowing how to attack your plan can make your business just as successful.
His statement about traditional marketing, "The way to grow a business geometrically" (pg6), increasing the size of each transaction and making more per customer. This is obtaining maximum profit from each customer and when this is implemented for a great portion of your clientele, you are taking advantage of a lot of opportunity. Growing your business this way expands your profitability and your trying to grow your business in four different aspects at once it is difficult to make a solid profit when you are not focused one thing.
